The Sports Medicine Clinic, founded in 1963, was one of the first multidisciplinary sports medicine clinics in the country. Since its inception, The Sports Medicine Clinic has strived to provide the absolutely best comprehensive medical care under one roof.
The Sports Medicine Clinic brings a variety of medical specialties together to provide the best in conservative and surgical treatment for muscle and joint problems, including sports-related or workplace injuries. Our team consists of primary care physicians, sports medicine physicians, orthopaedic and podiatric surgeons with a full complement of physical therapists. We can successfully treat a long list of surgical and non-surgical problems, including tennis elbow, rotator cuff injuries, heel injuries, lower back problems, knee pain and knee injuries, stress fractures and muscle injuries.

The Clinic Nurse for the Sports Medicine Clinic promotes efficient patient flow throughout the clinic and assists the clinic physician with patient care, procedures, tests and record keeping.
Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
Licensure, Registration, Certification
A current Registered Nurse License for the State of Washington is required.
2-3 years of Nursing experience in a health care setting preferred.
Orthopedic surgery experience and/or joint knowledge preferred.
Able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served
Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to move freely throughout the clinic and hospital.
Physical Demand Level: Medium
In an 8-hour workday, must be able to-
Lift / Carry
20 to 50 pounds occasionally
10 to 25 pounds frequently
up to 10 pounds constantly
As required, must be able to-
Sit, Stand, Walk, Bend, Squat, Kneel, Crawl, Climb and Reach above shoulders
Push and Pull
Perform fine motor functions
Must possess functional vision, hearing, and speech in order to communicate effectively with clients, client advocates, and staff.
