Job summary

Job description/Responsibilities:  The registered professional nurse at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Rhode Island renders direct and indirect goal-oriented nursing care through the application of the nursing process. He/she functions within the policies, practice guidelines, procedures and physician directives Rehabilitation Hospital and the Department of Nursing in accordance with the Rhode Island Nurse Practice Act, JCAHO and CARF nursing service standards, and Rehabilitation Hospital of Rhode Island nursing standards of practice. Required Qualification:  Current RN license in State of RI Graduate of an accredited nursing program BLS certification required ACLS certification preferred Rehabilitation experience preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
