JOB SUMMARY:

The Division of Adolescent Medicine at Penn State Children’s Hospital is seeking a 0.6 FTE nurse practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and dietitians. As the division grows, there is potential for expansion. Divisional activities include: eating disorder care for children, adolescents, and young adults; primary medical care for adolescents with substance abuse; adolescent reproductive health care; weight management; and other adolescent health issues. Prior experience in adolescent health is desirable.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Masters Degree in Nursing with clinical specialization required.
Two years work experience as a RN required.
Current licensed to practice as a CRNP by Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required.
Must have demonstrated effective skills in consultation.
Certification as an NP in the area of practice specialization is preferred.
