FTE: 80 hours every two weeks. Rotating call requirements during weekday with occasional holiday coverage

JOB SUMMARY:

This Registered Nurse will lead, expertly guide, and oversee the transplant coordinator staff consistent with clinical and regulatory requirements; provide daily oversight of all abdominal transplant coordinators as well as providing continual regulatory readiness for UNOS, CMS and JCAHO.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Master’s degree in Nursing required.
Currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse by Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required.
Minimum 5 years of nursing experience in solid organ transplantation.
CCTC/CCTN or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Good computer skills including clinical applications, Word, Excel, Cerner and OTTR required.
Good communication skills required.
